Children's Ministry

~ CHILDREN'S MINISTRY ~

We LOVE FAMILIES so, we LOVE CHILDREN!! We offer many learning opportunities and many opportunities for FUN!

On Sunday mornings we offer Children's Worship during both services with age appropriate lessons and activities. Sunday School classes begin at 9:45am. We are blessed with great teachers who genuinely care about children and love teaching them -- your child will look forward to Sunday school all week!

Our School Year Wednesday Schedule evening activities begin with a family meal in Grace Hall. We ask for a suggested donation of $2 per adult and 50 cents per child with a $10 maximum per family. Your donation will help to defray the cost of the meal. The family meal enables parents to get done what they need to in the afternoon and not have to worry about dinner! Meals are delicious and nutritious. Menus are posted in our Sunday bulletins.

After the meal on Wednesdays, we offer Children's Choirs from 5:30pm to 6:30pm and AWANA Clubs from 6:30pm to 8:00pm. (See details below.) We also sprinkle in other activities as time allows such as children's activity days; Parent's Night Out; and Family Fun Days (each Tuesday during the summer break).

School Year Schedule

Children's Choirs:

Wednesday evenings at 5:30pm

for children ages 3 years through 6th grade (must by 3 years by Sept. 15, 2011 to participate).

AWANA Clubs:

Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm

until 8:00pm -- for children ages 2 years* through 6th grade (must by 2 years by Aug. 15, 2011 to participate AND have a parent involved in ministry at BVBC during this time).

Summer Schedule

2012

Our Wednesday evening summer activities for kids begins at 6:00pm. In order to keep activities available for children, we begin our Super Summer Wednesdays the Wednesday after AWANA and Children's Choirs are finished for the year.
